West Ashley High School is located in West Ashley, a suburb of Charleston, SC.
The high school is approximately 8 miles from historic downtown Charleston. The school accomodates approximately 2500
students grades 9-12. The band, in addition to the Fine Arts Department, is an integral part of student activities within
the school.
West Ashley High School was opened in the fall of 2001. The school serves as
a host site for many events such as Charleston All-County Band,SCBDA Region 4 Clinic, and SCBDA Concert Festival. The
school has a state of the art auditorium which seats 900 people.
